Cologne

Sam was in Cologne, Germany, for a boxing tournament and after he won his match on Wednesday I decided to drive there the next day to see his match against Cuba. It was a 3 hr drive so wasn’t too bad and I booked a simple hotel as soon as I decided to go. I dropped my car at the hotel and took and uber to the venue where the tournament was taking place. Unfortunately after a very nervewrecking match in which Sam really showed good work, he lost on points against the 34 y/o Cuban. I’m so proud of him! We got to go on a nice dinner together afterwards and the next day we had some time to explore the city and have some more food. It was very cold tho so didn’t enjoy it very much haha. Here we were at the Kölner Dom, an amazing big church in the center of the city. It’s truly amazing and só big!

Tower Bridge

First time seeing the Tower Bridge! Uhhh it’s my 6th time in London, how did that happen? Also took the opportunity to show off my ear full of Capricci earrings. I literally can’t stop looking at their stuff and wanting to buy everything. All. The. Time. This daith piercing is not available yet, but it’s so pretty. I told the owner it would be nice if they could get some pretty and affordable faith piercings since they are pretty hard to find imo. Of course the Maria Tase ones are amazing but helloooo 3000 euros? Nahh not gonna happen. Oh and by the way I caught a massive flu yesterday. We had some drinks on Friday night so I thought I might got a hangover, but it got so so terrible later on, I could barely walk. My whole body was hurting so bad, but I didn’t want to stay in bed for more than half of the trip. So yesterday we did go the Camden Town since I had never been there before either, but that’s why I don’t have any pictures of that day.

Mercedes-Benz staff party

We had a staff party last night at Gomes Noord-Holland Mercedes-Benz in Alkmaar! The dealership was fully packed. We had a nice dinner and some drinks and talked with some of our new colleagues. My shoes were kiiiiiilling me tho! I had to work the next day from 8 – 17 and when I woke up I could barely stand straight becaus my knees were hurting so bad. The outfit was worth it tho haha. I bought the dress on sale at the Bijenkorf the same day. I got the Loub’s one year ago in New York and of course my new Valentino bag was the finishing touch 🙂 I was all gold and black, love it!

SAY HELLO TO MY NEW BAAAAAAG! I’ve been eye-ing one of those Valentino bags for a while, but thought they were way too expensive. I also thought I wanted the smaller size, but when I tried it out in the store just to see if my daily stuff would fit, I came to the conclusion that it was too small for me and I was gonna get annoyed by the fact that I had to squeeze my stuff in. But then.. Between christmas and NYE Sam and I passed the Bijenkorf after dinner, just 5 minutes before closing. I literally put my hands in front of my mouth when I saw this bag standing there, calling my name AND having a sale tag on it! I was so happy it was ridicilous hahaha. Then I also saw it was 50% off. To me it’s crazy they put such a classic bag in such a wearable ‘color’ on sale, but I couldn’t be happier. I tried it on and fell in love immediately, but I was in doubt since it has gold hardware and my jackets all have silver hardware.. In the end I just couldn’t resist the bag and got it. No regrets! I love it and I use it a lot.
