It was all yellow

Dinner at The Junction House! Unfortunately we were pretty much the only ones there, but the food was quite nice! And I loved the interior! A really cute mix of old fashioned and traditional, with straw chairs and all! Speaking about straw; did you spot my new bag? I bought it here and I love ittt! Seems like bags like these are ‘in’ nowadays anyways, so perfect timing to buy one here 😊

Mrs. SIPPY

WE’RE IN BALIIIIII!! We had a loooong day of travels (Emirates flights via Dubai) but yazzzzz it’s chill time! Today we went to Mrs. Sippy, a beach/pool club in Seminyak. The service was great, the beds were nice and just the whole atmosphere was very convenient. Oh and of course I couldn’t help myself from doing a handstand on the 5m diving platform. Didn’t jump off of it though 😅

Early Kingsday?

I love the colored walls they have here! This orange one makes it feel like Kingsday came early this year haha. And believe it or not; this cute dress is from Primark! Go get ittttt!

Stairs

At night the temperature goes down quite some degrees here so it’s better to dress a little warmer. Plus there’s a lot of mosquitos here (some can give you malaria..) so wearing long sleeves and pants saves you a lot of bites!

Purple wall

Welcome to Gambia! Me and my mom arrived yesterday afternoon so today was our first full day. Oh my did we ‘need’ this vacay! The weather is perfect: not too hot and a little windy. Slowly getting our tans on, talking, sleeping, resting, reading; exactly what we needed!

Meeting family in the Bronx

Couldn’t come to New York without visiting family! The woman is my grandma’s sister and the man is her husband. I never met them in a way that I could actually remember it, the last time we saw each other is was 3 or 4 years old. Now, 20 years later, I went to the Bronx where they have been living for the past 45 years. Three stories high, these sweet 80 year old people live in a small but oh so cute apartment. Honestly it instantly felt like coming home. The warm family love, the Italian food (he is Italian) and the Dutch words between the English sentences my sisters grandma said to her husband; I had the time of my life. She felt like my grandma too, almost as much as my real grandma. I felt a instant connection like the one I have with her sister. They cooked a delicious meal for us which we enjoyed together, had a lot to talk about and FaceTimed with my mom and dad back home. After the food we went into the neighborhood to take some cool shots (unfortunately went the wrong way but still super nice pics) and later they brought us back to the hotel in the center of NY. Thank so much <3

Empty subway

When the subway train is empty, we take advantage of it! Was quite the challenge tho since I was hanging on one leg but the train was moving a lottt. That’s why I’m not sharp in the last picture but hey it’s still cool :))
