Flexible Friday

Last wednesday I’ve been training on a 1,5 m x 1 m x 1 m square. I’ll be doing an act, made by Flying Artwork, on december 21st. I wasn’t as scary as I expected it to be! These are some stills from a little clip my collegae made while I was practicing.  // Afgelopen woensdag heb ik getraind op een 1,5 m x 1 m x 1 m rechthoek. Ik zal hier een act op doen die gemaakt is door Flying Artwork, op 21 december. Het was gelukkig lang niet zo eng als ik had verwacht. Dit zijn een aantal ‘stills’ van een video die een collega maakte terwijl ik aan het oefenen was.

My food addictions

Sushi
Oh sushi.. Who doesn’t love sushi? Ever since it became kind of like a hype in Holland to eat sushi, I’ve been addicted to it as well. I never use to eat fish before, maybe twice a year. Now I eat a lot of salmon and krab and I love it. There were times I went out for a sushi dinner every week. Now I would say I eat sushi every 3 to 4 weeks. I love it so much, I could eat it twice a week without getting sick of it. I’ve been to a lot of different restaurants, but every time me and my friends go to Nagoya in Aalsmeer, because it’s close but also very very good. I do have to admit that I like meat better and I also order some meat dishes while having a sushi-dinner. The California handroll and the salmon sake are my favorites! You can totally wake me up in the middle of the night for those!

Salt popcorn
I have a rule: movie = popcorn! But not only while watching a movie. I also eat popcorn just during the day. While blogging, watching YouTube videos or whatever. I just love the crunchiness together with the saltiness. I am not that much of a sweet tooth; chocolate doesn’t really attract me anymore. But salty food.. Totally my thing!

Wraps
When I want to have something that tastes reaaally good but also something that isn’t that bad for you, I make wraps. I put the wrap in the microwave for 30 seconds. After that I put on a layer of mayonnaise, then a layer of pesto. Some lettuce in the middle of the wrap and then I sprinkle on some pine seeds and chopped tomato. To finish it of I either add carpaccio or roastbeaf on top, roll up the wrap and cut in into pieces. SOOOO GOOD!
