More neon

Had these pics too so thought why not share them aswell?

Today I’ve been listening to three songs on which I will perform this Friday. I’m very excited for this since it’s in event in my hometown where a lot of people from the area come to! I will be performing 3 separate acts in quite a short amount of time so that will be a little bit of a challenge. Later this afternoon I will visit the location to talk through some stuff already. I’m kind of nervous. I always am actually, but after the show I always want more more more haha!

delayed flight

We were 2hrs and 15 minutes prior to our flight departure at the airport and there we found out our flight was delayed by 55 minutes. In the end it was only half an hour but it was enough time to take this pic. I think it’s so funny to corporate flexibly movements and daily activities into normal environments haha.

Krka

We went on another little tour today! We went to the Krka National Park where you could walk around the lake and see the Krka waterfalls. It was not allowed to swim there anymore, otherwise I think I would’ve done so. the water was crystal clear with many fish and small waterfalls alongside the route we walked. The sounds of the waterfalls are so relaxing to me; I could hang out there for hours and hours. Reading a book, relaxing in the sun, playing card games..

Maslinica

During our boat trip we also made a stop at a beautiful place called Maslinica on one of Croatia’s many islands. We took some photos and had a coffee. That was pretty much it haha.

Blue Lagoon

Do I need to say more? Okay, I will anyways. Today we took the Blue Lagoon boat tour with Toto tours. This was one of the stops. The water was so clear (too cold for us tho and no swimwear with us anyways), I can imagine it must be amazing to snorkel here. We stayed here for a little over an hour, enjoying the sun and relaxing to the sounds of the sea. Had to take a pic doing this handstand which kind of turned into my signature pose haha.

Marjan park Split

This morning my sister, our friend and me left for our yearly autumn trip! Previously we went to Milan and Valencia and now we are in Split, Croatia! We’ve never been here (or in the country) at all, but after one day we are already so impressed! Everything is beautiful and worth taking a picture of. The weather is really nice still; around 20 to 22 degrees. Sometimes it’s a bit windy but overall we are very lucky and happy! Tomorrow we’re gonna take a boat to some islands and Trogir, another beautiful city right at the see. Today we arrived pretty early, went to the apartment we rented (soooo nice, will tell you later!) and went into the city for some lunch. After that we walked up a s**t load of stairs into the Marjan park. Sounds like I’m complaining now but it actually was pretty nice to get kind of a little work out in (hello booty!) and in the end the view was very much worth it!

Headvillage

Okay that title was obviously a joke. It’s the literal translation for the city I was yesterday, Hoofddorp. I come there quite a lot since it’s only 20 mins away by car, there are nice lunch places and the shops are good as well. My friend Sophie asked to have a coffee so 45 mins later we were having one (and something to eat of course) at Barista. The first pic is not taken there tho. It was at Happy Tosti. I just thought it was a cute spot haha.

Polaroids

I took my sisters polaroid camera with us and I’m so happy I did! So cute to have those pictures straight out of the camera. I framed the best/nicest ones to always remind us of this special and beautiful trip.

The Lawn

Oopsss after coming back from the Gili islands I totally forgot to keep posting the last days! Here we were at beach club The Lawn in Canggu. A little further from our hotel but soooo worth it! This beach club was my fav. The food was amazing, the vibe was super chill and the prices were really good. We took a day bed which had a minimal spend of 1.000.000 rupiahs day, and with all this food plus 2 coffees, a bottle of water and 4 cocktails we justttt reached the million. Thanks The Lawn for giving is an amazing last full day!

Gili Air

During our snorkeling trip we made a stop to have lunch at Gili Air, another amazing island part of the Gili’s. To me Gili Air has a more relaxed vibe; I barely saw any tourists and it was just very calm. We had lunch at a local restaurant and it was AMAAAAZING! Oh how I love Indonesian food! The (as I call them) corn cookies are my favorite but also the oleh oleh (the cream stuff with veggies on the left) was sososo good! I tried having oleh oleh again when we were back in Bali but didn’t find it 🙁 But once again; amazing experience!
