Chloe faye

I didn’t expect myself to say this at this point but; I bought my first Chloé bag! It’s the Faye medium and it has all these beautiful cutouts which create a pineapple too! I got it at Paul Warmer in Amsterdam. This was really a case of unexpectedly walking into a dream bag. I really didn’t intend to buy anything like this bag that day, but when I saw it I really couldn’t leave it there. I’m so so happy with it. I combined it with my new Zara dress which was on sale and one of my fav comfy pair of heels to wear from Primark.

By the way these pics were taken after I came back from a show and I still had my makeup on and it was golden hour so I really wanted to take some pics! So that explaines my glittery eyes, which btw you can get from Laguna Cosmetics! :))

What is your dream bag? Comment below!

Naked Smoky

Wooohoooo I am so excited!! Last weekend my brother and his gf went to Paris to celebrate their 2 year anniversary and they brought me the brand new Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette! Okay I admit I asked them to get it for me haha.

Let me show you the beautiful packaging and amazing shadows!

On the back you can see the colors with their names, a little story about the palette and the brush inside. // Op de achterkant staan de kleuren met de namen, een verhaaltje over het pallet en de kwast die er in zit.

The colors!

As you can see this palette is mostly cool-toned. Also there is a mix of matte and shimmery and/or glittery shadows. Myself I like to switch between matte and shimmery and I also love to combine them. I already own the original Naked palette which is mostly warm toned and the Naked Basics 2 which only has earth/neutral tones which are all matte, so this is a great addition to my Naked family :).

The smudge side of the brush. // De smudge kant van de kwast.

The brush has very soft bristles! The blending side is the perfect size to blend in the crease and the smudge side is perfect for smudging out the lower lashline. SCORE!

On the swatches below you can see the color pay-off. I applied all shadows on my bare skin and also on top of the UD Primer Potion to see if there is any difference. The top part of each swatch is on bare skin, the bottom half is with the UD PP underneath.

You can see that they are all highly pigmented. The shadows are all very soft. I do think that the matte shades are a little bit harder to get a nice color pay-off from. It just takes a little more time to layer them to have them show up more. The others are all just one swipe! I haven’t done a look just yet since I got it today, but I’m sure I’m gonna love this palette so much. The colors are right up my street so I’m gonna get so much use out of it. It’s also perfect for perfomances, since there are some amazing darker colors in it.

I am super happy with my new palette! Do you think you will purchase this? And which Naked palette do you prefer?

Available at Sephora. Available in the Netherlands next month, at Ici Paris XL Kalverstraat Amsterdam only.

49,95 euro.

Mykonos

Last week I was at Mykonos, one of the islands of Greece. I’d never been there before (only Kos, Rhodes and Crete), but I loved it so much! You are probably wondering what I was there for..
Well I had a show for REPLAY again! Last year around the same time they approached me to work together for a new pair of jeans and I went to Italy with them to do a show wearing them. Same thing this year; a new pair of jeans, or actually leggings, and of course a different location. I was so happy they asked me to work with them again! We filmed an amazing video for the new jeans on friday the 1st of may and four days later I flew over to Mykonos. This time I was doing an aerial silk act (videos will be up tomorrow!). I got very nervous when the wind started to almost blow the silks away but I luckily everything went very well! I had an amazing time and hope to work with REPLAY once more next year!?

Barca!

Today we finally went to Barcelona weehoo! Been there already a few months ago but this time we saw a lot more of the old citycentre which was absolutely beautiful! Of course we did some shopping and I got some stuff at Sephora from Urban Decay and in the Adidas store I got the leggings from the Rita Ora collection. I wanted to get some shoes from the same collection but they only had two kinds of pairs. When we came back to the apartment I went to the website and saw awesome kicks so I ordered them right away! I cant wait for them to get in! I’ll show them when they do:)
Also I met up with Miss Peru from the Miss Intercontinental pageant I competed in last year. She is so incredibly sweet! She lives near Barcelona now and came all the way to the city with her patents to meet me! Also she invited me to her wedding next year, such an honor!
For dinner we had freshly made sushi from the supermarket, delishhh!

BTC show pictures

As many of you already knew through Facebook and Instagram, I was in New Orleans from friday the 12th of september until tuesday the 16th. This was because I was one of the models for the show from Farouk (CHI/Biosilk) at the BTC Coloshow 2014!
This was a three day event with all kind of hair workshops given on stage by many different hair brands. BTC stands for Behind The Chair.

We arrived on friday evening, had a quick dinner and went to bed because we had a pretty tough day travelling with delays and everything.
On Saturday morning we started with rehearsals and getting to know what we had to do and how to walk. The choreography was made by Anne van Sint Fiet, who is a dancer and also danced in the show, together with two other girls. After rehearsing off stage we had the change to try everything on stage and it all went very well! We rehearsed for a total of 5 hours and then it was time to color our hair. Mine became green/blue again with very dark (almost black) roots. I have to say I loved it even more than the last time they made it green! The coloring took a while, but when we were all done we went out with the Dutch Farouk team to visit Bourbon Street which was sooo much fun! We ate dinner somewhere and went back to the hotel because I wasnt feeling very well after the dinner.
Sunday morning it was rehearsal time again and when we were done 3 girls had to get their Hair retouched so I relaxed in the hotel room. When the other girls were done we relaxed at the pool a bit, had dinner in the evening and went to bed pretty early because the next day it was showtime!
So on monday I went to the prep room to get my makeup done and my hair prepared and a few hours later we were on stage. I have to say, it felt amazingly good! Everybody loved our show and was cheering and clapping because they enjoyed it so much! After the show we went to the CHI booth to take some pics with visitors which was a lot of fun too. We got so many compliments!

Here are some pictures of the show! A little side note: first we went on stage with undone hair and half of our head covered with a cap and wooden parts. The parts represented the parts they made to color our hair. On stage they painted the parts in the colors they used to show how they achieved the haircolor. After that they took the caps off, fixed our hair and showed the end result.

A big thank you to Farouk Systems for taking me on this beautiful journey! Also I’d like to thank Esther from Farouk and our hairdressers Maurice, Richard and Patrick! Oh and I cant forget about the amazing team from America! Thank you so much!!

Enjoy! X
