More neon

Had these pics too so thought why not share them aswell?

Today I’ve been listening to three songs on which I will perform this Friday. I’m very excited for this since it’s in event in my hometown where a lot of people from the area come to! I will be performing 3 separate acts in quite a short amount of time so that will be a little bit of a challenge. Later this afternoon I will visit the location to talk through some stuff already. I’m kind of nervous. I always am actually, but after the show I always want more more more haha!

Neon green or yellow?

This color is so in style right now, but I’m still in doubt (and probably will always be) if it’s neon green of neon yellow.. What do you think? It’s from Zara by the way and pretty stretchy. I got a size medium but could’ve gotten a size small.

Krka

We went on another little tour today! We went to the Krka National Park where you could walk around the lake and see the Krka waterfalls. It was not allowed to swim there anymore, otherwise I think I would’ve done so. the water was crystal clear with many fish and small waterfalls alongside the route we walked. The sounds of the waterfalls are so relaxing to me; I could hang out there for hours and hours. Reading a book, relaxing in the sun, playing card games..

Maslinica

During our boat trip we also made a stop at a beautiful place called Maslinica on one of Croatia’s many islands. We took some photos and had a coffee. That was pretty much it haha.

Blue Lagoon

Do I need to say more? Okay, I will anyways. Today we took the Blue Lagoon boat tour with Toto tours. This was one of the stops. The water was so clear (too cold for us tho and no swimwear with us anyways), I can imagine it must be amazing to snorkel here. We stayed here for a little over an hour, enjoying the sun and relaxing to the sounds of the sea. Had to take a pic doing this handstand which kind of turned into my signature pose haha.

Morris & Co X H&M

We call this the ‘Lourdes dress’. My mom just visitied Lourdes, a holy place for catholics, with her sister, my grandma and her sister. We say this is kind of a grandma dress so there we made the connection haha. I do like it a lot; it’s easy to throw a dress like this on and then you already kind of have your outfit together. You dont have to find a top, bottom and maybe blazer to match together. I’m trying to dress a little more out of my comfort zone lately, that’s also why I bought this dress. Normally I don’t dress this neat, but I really like it and feel comfortable in it. Nice to change it up a bit sometimes :).

What is your style usually like? Dressy or comfy? Jeans or dress/skirt? Heels or flats/sneakers?

Social Nomads influencer workshop

So last week I attended the ‘Create Content like an Influencer’ workshop by Social Nomads. Social Nomads is a company set up by Lynn form @whoisthatblonde, a former model and now influencer who earns her money through social media. It’s not my goal or anything to become an ‘influencer’, although it would be nice since I already really like creating nice pics for my instagram (and blog). I invited Britt with me, a girl I met through a very close facebook group. We never met before, but I really liked her instagram and thought she would like to join me and she did :). The workshop consisted of information and tips on how to grow your engagement by creating a nice feed, good photos and being active. Although I already knew quite a lot and I have my own way of editing my photos, the workshop was very helpfull. We also got the time to take some photos and who ever had the ‘best’ picture and used the tips to take the picture, won a lunch and photo session with Lynn herself. Unfortunately I didn’t win, but she did post my picture in her instagram stories. Thank Lynn (and Mailili) for the nice and educational afternoon!

Purple coziness

Sweater weather is here! Oh well, we thought so. Suddenly it’s between 20 and 26 degrees oops. Lovely Indian Summer! I would always choose sun over cold, but honestly I am quite exited for fall. We burn candles every night so it’s already pretty cosy in our apartment, but when it’s time to snuggle up under a blanket it’s even better.

Pre-loved Gucci loafers

I’ve been following Noor aka Queen Of Jet Lags for quite some time already. I really like her style and she’s an inspiration to me since her style is more feminine and classy than mine so I like to take a look at her Instagram to challenge myself every once and a while to wear something that’s out of the box for me. When I saw she was selling some stuff via Designer Vintage I had to see if there was something I would like. And of course I found something! Just a few days before I bought these I decided I wanted a pair, but new they cost almost 600 euros. Of course these were worn quite a lot but still in pretty good condition and only a fraction of the normal price! I’m really happy with them; they are such classics and they are very comfy too. Do you own a pair of loafers? Where did you get them? Let me know!

Headvillage

Okay that title was obviously a joke. It’s the literal translation for the city I was yesterday, Hoofddorp. I come there quite a lot since it’s only 20 mins away by car, there are nice lunch places and the shops are good as well. My friend Sophie asked to have a coffee so 45 mins later we were having one (and something to eat of course) at Barista. The first pic is not taken there tho. It was at Happy Tosti. I just thought it was a cute spot haha.
