Pre-loved Gucci loafers

I’ve been following Noor aka Queen Of Jet Lags for quite some time already. I really like her style and she’s an inspiration to me since her style is more feminine and classy than mine so I like to take a look at her Instagram to challenge myself every once and a while to wear something that’s out of the box for me. When I saw she was selling some stuff via Designer Vintage I had to see if there was something I would like. And of course I found something! Just a few days before I bought these I decided I wanted a pair, but new they cost almost 600 euros. Of course these were worn quite a lot but still in pretty good condition and only a fraction of the normal price! I’m really happy with them; they are such classics and they are very comfy too. Do you own a pair of loafers? Where did you get them? Let me know!

Flying high

Wow what a show we had last week in Ziggo Dome Amsterdam! On September 19th the Liberty Global Tech Summit 2018 was held there and me, Sanne, Paula and Annika had the honor to perform an aerial hoop act in the main hall where the guests were having a massive dinner. The whole space was lit, but when we were starting they turn off all the lights and put spots on us so everyone was really watching and paying attention which was really nice. We were hanging quite high, between 7 and 9 meters, but it felt so gooood! Our show was a huge success and everyone was so happy afterwards! Thank Pzia for this job and thanks girls for the great work!

Livingroom

OMG I’m so proud! The livingroom is pretty much done. The dining table and kitchen are in the same room, but on the other side. I’m still waiting for the dining table, which is the last thing to get. It should arrive October 15th. The couch was supposed to arrive in the same week, but a week ago I got a call from them that it was ready to be delivered! I was suprised but so happy at the same time! I still have to get used to the size; it’s 3.10m wide, which is more than half of the length of the space, but it’s so nice and cosy. The day after I went to get a rug. We saw this one in a magazine and hoped it would fit perfectly and thankfully it does!

I wanted to keep everthing white, gold and beige/light wood in the livingroom and I think I did a pretty nice job. I am really content with how everything turned out. I do believe you’re never actually done decorating your home, but for now I am very happy!

If you’ve got questions about where something is from or something else, don’t bother to ask in the comments!

Cloudy bike ride

Did you know in the Netherlands there are more bikes than there are people? Crazy right!? And I don’t own one myself haha. This cute one with the clouds all over it is from my friend Linda. I saw her the other day and we had lunch at Bagels and Beans in Leiden. I asked her to capture me on her bike since it’s literally years since I’ve been on one haha!

Colors and gold glitter

How do you like my look for last Saturdays clubnight? It took me a while to get my face and hair to look like this but it was worth it! I took some fake orange hair and braided it into a tight braid. Makeup wise I pretty much always do it like this. Sometimes I switch eyeshadow colors, highlighter and lip colors, but most of the time it’s something gold/brown/neutral toned like this. The super pretty face jewels are from my new fav online glitter shop Get Glitter Baby and the catsuit is by Jaded London 😊

Vliegende Vrienden van AMSTEL LIVE!

Yesterday was soooo awesome! We went to ‘Vliegende Vrienden van AMSTEL LIVE!’ at Spaarnwoude. I’ve performed at the regular ‘Vrienden van AMSTEL LIVE!’ in AHOY’ last year and it was one of the best experiences ever ever ever. I enjoyed it so much! For this event they took the whole thing outside, to 3 different cities and flew all artists around by helicopters. I was in the video trailer for this event, but unfortunately didn’t ”fly’ this time. Nevertheless I had a great time with my sister (in the second picture) and two friends! We were really lucky weather-wise too.

Unfortunately we missed Di-Rect (such lovely guys, performed with them once!). We also missed Lil Kleine and Broederliefde, which was fine. I enjoyed Kraantje Pappie and Diggy Dex a lot; great performers and part had a really nice party vibe. Chef’s Special really surprised me: so much talent! Hopefully another VVVAL next year!
